Indonesian singer and Big Stage 2019 contestant Dinda Permata has clarified that her mistakes on stage was not the reason she cried during her performance.

She said that she couldn't control her emotions when singing 'Terlalu Menguja' as it reminded her of her mother and siblings in Indonesia.

"Even during the rehearsals, I cried and told the vocal instructor, Cikgu Syafi, that I was worried I won't be able to hold back my emotions.

"The song wasn't chosen by me, but by the production. I gave my full trust because I know they better understand what Malaysians would like.

"I didn't cry on stage because of the mistake I made. The first time I heard the song was enough to make my tears fal.

"Every time I sing the song, I'm reminded of my mother and siblings. I'm not sure if I've done my best by them.

"I take this as a challenge to perform emotional songs. It's proven today that I failed to control my emotions when singing the song," she said tearfully.

Dinda made the statement after the Big Stage 2 concert at Auditorium Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam.

She also thanked singer Aziz Harum for saving her from elimination.

"I'd like to convey thousands of thanks to Aziz for giving me a second chance to correcty mistakes.

"I was also very touched when some of the audience yelled asking for me not to be eliminated," she said.

Initially, Finds was announced as the third contestant to leave Big Stage 2019.

However, Aziz decided to leave the competition voluntarily to pursue his education overseas. This saved Dinda from elimination this week.

10 contestants will be moving forward to episode four and performing songs themed 'Duominasi'.

Composer Ajai will be the guest judge joining permanently judges Datuk Siti Nurhaliza and Cakra Khan.

Singer Aman RA opened the stage on week three with the soundtrack from 'Sangkar' titled Fighter.
